Part of the more than $1 billion Building Rural and Remote Health Program, the new Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) facility is under construction.
The new development is funded by the Queensland Government’s Building Rural and Remote Health Program, which is dedicated to enhancing healthcare services in regional and remote communities.
Scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025, the new MPHS facility will include:
FK Gardner & Sons will lead the construction of the new facility, which will be built on the site of the existing campus.
Due to its age and increasing maintenance burden, the existing Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service facility will be demolished upon completion of the new build.
Existing services will continue uninterrupted while construction is underway.
The new Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service facility will enable the delivery of modern, high-quality healthcare to residents in Millmerran and surrounds.
The new facility will offer modern services and updated equipment to support the community for generations to come.
